Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

IndexMeNow MCP Server

The IndexMeNow MCP Server provides seamless integration with the IndexMeNow API, enabling efficient and automated management of large-scale indexing and SEO operations.

This server is fully compatible with Claude Desktop and exposes a powerful suite of tools to help you monitor, index, and manage your projects programmatically.

Usage and Use Cases

  • Automated Indexing: Easily index large batches of URLs automatically without manual submission. Ideal for SEO agencies, content publishers, and developers managing multiple sites.
  • Project Management: Create and manage complex indexing projects with thousands of URLs. Track progress, reindex completed URLs, and monitor real-time status.
  • API Integration: Integrate directly with Claude Desktop or other MCP-compatible environments to automate workflows or connect with external systems like n8n or custom scripts.

IndexMeNow Tools List (6)

  • Get credits count

    • Retrieves the total number of remaining credits in your IndexMeNow account.
  • Get all projects

    • Lists all projects created under your account.
  • Check if project name exists

    • Verifies whether a project with a given name already exists.
    • Inputs:
      • project_name (string): The project unique name.
  • Add a new project

    • Creates a new project with the specified URLs.
    • Inputs:
      • project_name (string): The unique identifier of the project.
      • urls (string[]): An array of urls related to the project.
  • Add new urls to existing project or index again completed urls

    • Adds new URLs to an existing project or reindexes completed ones.
    • Inputs:
      • project_id (string): The project unique name.
      • urls (string[]): An array of urls related to the project.
  • Check project urls status

    • Retrieves the indexing status of specific URLs in a project.
    • Inputs:
      • project_id (string): The project unique name.
      • urls (string[]): An array of urls related to the project.

Configuration Guide

  1. Create an Account 👉 Sign up or Log in to IndexMeNow.
  2. Choose a Plan 💳 Purchase credits here.
  3. Get Your API Key 🔑 Retrieve it from your developer dashboard.
  4. Configure in Claude Desktop Add your API key to the claude_desktop_config.json file as shown below.

Usage with Claude Desktop

Add this server to your Claude Desktop configuration file claude_desktop_config.json: Replace your_indexmenow_api_key with your valid IndexMeNow api key.
