Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Binary wrapper for typos — a fast, low false-positive spell checker for source code

Effortlessly add typos to any npm, pnpm, or Yarn project without a separate Rust or system installation.

Install

npm install --save-dev @ocular-d/typos-bin
pnpm add --save-dev @ocular-d/typos-bin
yarn add --dev @ocular-d/typos-bin

The correct typos binary for your platform is automatically downloaded during install.

Supported platforms: macOS (arm64, x64), Linux (arm64, x64)

Usage

Configuration options

Options can be set in three ways (listed by priority, highest first):

Note: After changing any option, re-run your package manager install to re-download the binary.

Troubleshooting

Binary not found after install

If you see The typos binary was not found, your install was likely run with --ignore-scripts. Re-run without that flag:

npm install
