Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

@oge-ui/scheduler-engine

Commercial package. Like @oge-ui/scheduler, this engine is source-available commercial software: free for evaluation, development and testing — a paid license is required for production use. No watermark, no runtime license checks. See LICENSE and ogeui.com/license.

The framework-free engine behind the OGE UI scheduler. Plain TypeScript, shipped as ESM + CJS, with no Angular or React import anywhere — both render layers, @oge-ui/scheduler (Angular) and @oge-ui/react-scheduler (React), run this one copy (ADR 0003: commercial engines live in per-family engine packages, never in the MIT @oge-ui/behavior).

You rarely install it directly: it arrives as a dependency of either render package.

What's inside

  • Layout kernels — buildTimeGrid / buildMonthGrid view models, layoutDayColumn (transitive-overlap clusters with greedy column assignment), packLanes / buildMonthWeekLanes (all-day strip and month rows with "+N more" overflow), the timeline's transposed lane layout.
  • Recurrence — parseRecurrenceRule / serializeRecurrenceRule for the documented RFC 5545 subset (FREQ DAILY/WEEKLY/MONTHLY/YEARLY, INTERVAL, COUNT ⊕ UNTIL, BYDAY, BYMONTHDAY, BYMONTH, BYHOUR, BYMINUTE, BYSETPOS, WKST), expandRecurrence in RFC order, iCalendar blocks with DTSTART / RDATE / EXDATE lines (RDATE adds occurrences without consuming COUNT), and UTC …Z stamps converted to local instants. Still rejected: TZID, BYYEARDAY, BYWEEKNO, BYSECOND, EXRULE, VALUE=PERIOD.
  • Interaction — gesture math (proposeMove, proposeResize, the drag arithmetic of every view), the pointer-gesture machine (beginPointerGesture, shared from @oge-ui/behavior: 3px threshold, capture-phase Escape-cancel, touch long press) and the keyboard maps (timeGridCellKey, chipKey, timeGridChipCtrlKey, timelineBarCtrlKey).
  • View models — day/week columns (per-resource split), month, timeline, agenda and year builders, aria-label and text formatters, the grid semantics helpers (dayWeekColumnHeaderText, monthColumnHeaderText, dayWeekCellSelected, monthCellSelected, schedulerGridReadOnly).
  • Adaptive view — OgeSchedulerAdaptiveViewController switches to the agenda view below a container breakpoint and restores the previous view.
  • OgeSchedulerCore — the shell machine: the working set, DataSource loads and write-through, the cancelable CRUD pipelines, occurrence vs. series routing, the editor model mapping and default form items, navigation, the built-in context menu state, live-region announcements and the reminder scan. It takes an OgeReactivityAdapter (signals in Angular, a versioned store in React), so its semantics exist once.
  • Config — OGE_DEFAULT_SCHEDULER_CONFIG, the full OgeSchedulerMessages catalog and resolveOgeSchedulerConfig.

Every module with a decision in it has a spec beside it; src/index.spec.ts guards the barrel, which is both render layers' import surface.
