Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Command-line interface for the Olano Singapore MCP suite

Readme

@olano/sg-cli

Use the Olano Singapore suite without configuring an MCP client.

npx @olano/sg-cli list
npx @olano/sg-cli search rail
npx @olano/sg-cli ask "Summarise recent 4-room HDB resale prices in Bedok"
npx @olano/sg-cli query "What were the latest COE premiums?"
npx @olano/sg-cli datasets
npx @olano/sg-cli datasets property
npx @olano/sg-cli examples rail
npx @olano/sg-cli prompts
npx @olano/sg-cli profiles
npx @olano/sg-cli profile mobility
npx @olano/sg-cli tool weather_two_hour_forecast '{}'
npx @olano/sg-cli setup claude property
npx @olano/sg-cli setup claude mobility --dry-run
npx @olano/sg-cli doctor claude property

The npm package is @olano/sg-cli; the executable is deliberately shorter: olano-sg.

ask and its query alias call the suite's deterministic sg_ask router. They return recommended tools, extracted arguments, confidence and any missing required arguments; they do not send the question to an external model or execute an arbitrary recommended tool.

datasets lists the curated Singapore public-data catalogue, while examples prints realistic queries grouped across locations, rail, mobility, weather, property, business, the economy, finance, education, health, population, tourism, civic data and cross-series analytics. Use examples <category> to narrow it. prompts lists the reusable MCP prompt templates exposed by the aggregate server.

profiles prints the same exported profile definitions used by @olano/mcp-singapore itself. profile <name> previews the exact names selected by that server-side prefix contract (including the always-available profile discovery tool). To run the MCP server with the reduced inventory, use npx @olano/mcp-singapore --profile <name> or set OLANO_SG_PROFILE.

setup claude [profile] adds or refreshes the olano-ai/mcp-singapore Claude Code marketplace and installs the matching plugin at user scope. It defaults to the complete all profile; focused profiles are recommended for smaller tool inventories. doctor claude [profile] is read-only and reports whether Claude Code, the Olano marketplace, and that plugin are available. Profiles are all, property, mobility, business, economy, civic, and finance.
