Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Local stdio bridge that connects Claude Desktop to the Affinity MCP Cloud backend.

Latest Version: Automatically updated with each release.

Environment Variables

  • BIFROST_API_URL - Cloud backend URL (required)
  • BIFROST_API_KEY - Personal Access Token from frontend (required)
  • DEBUG - Set to 1 to enable debug logging to stderr

Getting Your API Key

  1. Visit the Bifrost frontend
  2. Log in or create an account
  3. Add your Affinity API key in Integrations
  4. Generate a Personal Access Token (PAT)
  5. Copy the PAT to your Claude config

Troubleshooting

401 Unauthorized

  • Check that your PAT is valid
  • Ensure the token hasn't expired
  • Verify you're using the correct API URL

424 Failed Dependency

  • Add your Affinity API key in the frontend Integrations page
  • Ensure your Affinity key is valid

Connection Issues

  • Verify the backend is accessible
  • Check your internet connection
  • Try with DEBUG=1 for more details
