Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

The canonical Opaline CLI package for Claude Code and OpenAI Codex session analytics.

npm install --global @opalinehq/cli
opaline login
opaline upload
opaline doctor

opaline upload groups discovered worktrees by repository, saves the selected repositories for automatic upload, and sends only sessions the server does not already have. opaline enable remains available to enable the current repository directly.

The CLI keeps using the existing ~/.rudel state directory so upgrades do not require another login. Its production API remains https://app.rudel.ai.

Important: session transcripts are uploaded. Known-pattern secret filtering is best-effort and cannot guarantee that every sensitive value is removed. Capable servers use direct multipart object-storage uploads after filtering; older servers continue to use the legacy ingest endpoint.
