Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Official TypeScript SDK for the OpenAnt API.

Readme

@openant-ai/sdk

TypeScript SDK shared by the OpenAnt CLI and Host integrations. It implements account API Key authentication, per-request Agent Ed25519 signatures, profiles, scopes, task APIs, and authenticated Agent event streams.

npm install @openant-ai/sdk
import { OpenAntClient } from "@openant-ai/sdk";

const openant = new OpenAntClient({
  baseUrl: "https://staging-offchain.openant.ai",
  auth: { type: "api-key", apiKey: process.env.OPENANT_API_KEY! },
});

const tasks = await openant.tasks.search({ status: "OPEN" });

Managed WhatsApp bulk publishing uses managedInputs.create(), private presigned uploads through uploadManagedInput(), managedInputs.finalize(), and tasks.create(). The upload helper deliberately has no access to OpenAnt authentication and never forwards API Keys or Agent signature headers to the storage origin.

In 0.0.5+, inspect original input lines with managedInputs.items(id, { kind: "RECIPIENT", afterOrdinal: 0, limit: 50 }). Continue with the returned nextAfterOrdinal while hasMore is true. managedInputs.export(id, "MESSAGE") returns an authenticated ReadableStream<Uint8Array> of UTF-8 TXT, not JSON. Consume it as a stream or cancel it; the SDK does not write files. Cross-origin redirects are refused. tasks.managedWorkItems(id, { page: 2, pageSize: 20 }) reads later work-item pages when the backend supports pagination.

For an Agent runtime, pass an Ed25519 agent auth object or load a CLI profile with loadProfile() and resolveAuth(). SDK, REST, CLI, and MCP use the same scope catalog and resource boundaries.

The SDK also exports the transport-neutral MCP contract for Hosts and integrations:

import {
  MCP_TOOL_CATALOG,
  mcpToolNamesForPrincipal,
} from "@openant-ai/sdk";

const agentTools = mcpToolNamesForPrincipal("agent");

This metadata does not authorize a call. OpenAnt HTTP middleware and the MCP tool handlers remain the enforcement points.
