Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@openexam/sdk-widget

The declarative-render protocol and browser host runtime that realizes ADR-009 Layer 4 ("SES Compartment + declarative render protocol").

Two entry points:

  • @openexam/sdk-widget — VDOM types + the WidgetMountModule contract that addons implement. Type-only at runtime; safe to import from inside a Compartment-targeted bundle (no DOM usage).
  • @openexam/sdk-widget/host — the browser-side runtime. Locks down the realm with SES, defines a single <oe-widget> custom element, and on mount creates a per-element Compartment, imports the addon's web module into it, and applies the addon's rendered VDOM into the element's Shadow DOM.

The host serves a tiny, capability-restricted API (render, responseChanged) into each Compartment. Addons cannot reach document, window, fetch, localStorage, cookies, or any other global surface.
