Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

OpenTabs plugin for MongoDB Atlas — gives AI agents access to MongoDB Atlas through your authenticated browser session.

Install

opentabs plugin install mongodb-atlas

Or install globally via npm:

npm install -g @opentabs-dev/opentabs-plugin-mongodb-atlas

Setup

  1. Open cloud.mongodb.com in Chrome and log in
  2. Open the OpenTabs side panel — the MongoDB Atlas plugin should appear as ready

How It Works

This plugin runs inside your MongoDB Atlas tab through the OpenTabs Chrome extension. It uses your existing browser session — no API tokens or OAuth apps required. All operations happen as you, with your permissions.
