Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Stable command-line wrapper around the Finder API, designed to be called by AI agents. Run finder --help after install.

Install

npm install -g @optell/finder

Requires Node.js 18 or later.

Project Commands

These project commands require an explicit project ID option:

finder project info --project-id 57
finder project update --project-id 57 --name "Spring campaign"
finder project delete --project-id 57

Positional usage such as finder project info 57 is not supported for these commands.

creator info

Look up a creator by platform plus exactly one identifier:

finder creator info --platform TikTok --platform-id 123456
finder creator info --platform TikTok --username some_creator

Rules:

  • --platform is required.
  • Provide exactly one of --platform-id or --username.
  • Positional usage such as finder creator info TikTok 123456 is not supported.

Project Creator Commands

The project creator mutation commands use the same identifier rules:

finder project add-creator --project-id 57 --platform TikTok --platform-id 123456
finder project remove-creator --project-id 57 --platform TikTok --username some_creator
finder project filter-creator --project-id 57 --platform TikTok --platform-id 123456
finder project restore-creator --project-id 57 --platform TikTok --username some_creator
finder project creators --project-id 57 --platform TikTok

For project creators:

  • --project-id is required.
  • --platform is optional and repeatable as a filter.
  • Positional usage such as finder project creators 57 --platform TikTok is not supported.

For add-creator, remove-creator, filter-creator, and restore-creator:

  • --project-id is required.
  • --platform is required.
  • Provide exactly one of --platform-id or --username.
  • Positional usage such as finder project add-creator 57 TikTok 123456 is not supported.
