Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Jira Connector

An Orchesty connector for Jira, an issue and bug tracking tool that allows software developers to manage product development.

Application Type

Basic

This connector authenticates using a username and API token encoded as HTTP Basic auth (user:token Base64-encoded in the Authorization header). The Atlassian instance URL is configured per installation.

Setup

Credentials

  1. Log in to your Atlassian account.
  2. Navigate to Account Settings → Security → API tokens and create a new API token.
  3. Note your Jira instance URL (e.g. https://yourcompany.atlassian.net).
  4. In Orchesty, open the Jira application settings and fill in:
    • Atlassian url — your full Jira instance URL
    • User — your Atlassian account email
    • Token — your API token
  5. Also configure the issue type IDs (Bug, Task, Story) from Jira → Project settings → Issue types.

Install the package:
