Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

PAREL sandbox capability provider plugin for Modal Sandboxes.

A first-party runtime plugin for PAREL.

Install

npm install @parel/sandbox-modal

Usage

Provides the standard parel.sandbox capability from @parel/capability-sandbox using the official Modal JavaScript SDK. It supports filesystem operations, command execution, Modal tunnel URLs, and lifecycle management.

plugins:
  - plugin: sandbox-modal
    config:
      tokenId: <modal token id>
      tokenSecret: <modal token secret>
      appName: parel-agent
      image: python:3.13
      ports: [3000]

By default the plugin terminates the Modal sandbox on session:end. Set destroyOnSessionEnd: false to detach the local SDK object and leave the sandbox running.
