Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@patchhivehq/product-shell

@patchhivehq/product-shell is the shared frontend shell layer for PatchHive products.

It holds the cross-product browser behavior that should feel identical everywhere: API-key bootstrap, session handling, authenticated fetch helpers, and the common product frame that wraps individual product panels.

What It Includes

useApiKeyAuth for shared API-key bootstrap and session handling
createApiFetcher for authenticated requests to product backends
ProductSessionGate for the shared login and loading boundary
ProductAppFrame for the common PatchHive app frame and per-panel error boundary
ProductSetupWizard for the shared post-login setup and readiness flow used by every product except HiveCore

Publishing Model

@patchhivehq/product-shell is published to the public npm registry so standalone PatchHive product repositories can consume it as a normal versioned dependency.

The monorepo remains the source of truth for development and releases. The standalone patchhive/product-shell repository is a mirror for visibility, package-level CI, and external use.
