Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

NodeJS TypeScript Boilerplate

This project is a boilerplate for creating applications using Node.js and TypeScript.

Requirements

Make sure you have the following software installed on your machine:

  • Node.js 16.x or later
  • NPM 6.x or later

Getting Started

Follow these steps to get started with the boilerplate:

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/tomascatena/node-typescript-boilerplate.git

  2. Install the dependencies:

    npm install

  3. Compile TypeScript to JavaScript:

    npm run build

  4. Start the application in development mode:

    npm run dev

  5. Start the application in production mode:

    npm start
