Overview

When combined with Pipedream's capabilities, the Pilvio API can automate various aspects of communication workflows, effectively integrating telephony features into your business processes or applications.

Example Use Cases

• Customer Support Automation: Use the Pilvio API to build a workflow that automatically routes incoming customer support calls to the appropriate department. When a call is received, the workflow can assess the caller's input in an IVR menu and forward the call, log the interaction in a CRM like Salesforce, and send a follow-up SMS to the caller with a ticket number.

• Marketing Campaign Tracking: Create a workflow that assigns unique phone numbers to different marketing campaigns using the Pilvio API. Whenever someone calls or texts one of these numbers, the workflow logs the interaction in Google Sheets or a marketing platform like HubSpot for real-time campaign performance tracking. It can also trigger automated SMS responses thanking the caller for their interest.

• Appointment Reminders and Confirmation: Implement a system that sends out automated SMS appointment reminders to clients. The Pilvio API can be used to schedule and send these messages.
