Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@plone/volto-recyclebin

@plone/volto-recyclebin is the Volto management interface for Plone Recycle Bin. It gives site managers a safe way to inspect, restore, and permanently remove deleted content.

Requirements

  • Volto 19 or later
  • The plone.recyclebin backend with plone.restapi

Installation

Add @plone/volto-recyclebin to the addons and dependencies of your frontend policy package:

Merge these keys into the existing package.json; keep its other add-ons and dependencies. Install the project dependencies, restart Volto, and install the backend add-on in Site Setup → Add-ons.

Development

This repository uses pnpm workspaces and Node.js 24. Clone it and install the frontend development environment:

git clone [email protected]:plone/plone-recyclebin.git
cd plone-recyclebin/frontend
make install

Useful commands include:

make start
make lint
make test
make i18n

Run make help for all available commands. The acceptance tests require the frontend development server, backend acceptance server, and Cypress runner in separate terminal sessions:

make acceptance-frontend-dev-start
make acceptance-backend-start
make acceptance-test
