Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

@proofsource/openclaw-plugin

v0.1.1

Published

ProofSource OpenClaw/OpenAI-compatible plugin — lets Claude.ai and GPT agents pay creators in USDC per citation on Arc.

Readme

@proofsource/openclaw-plugin

OpenAI-compatible plugin server for ProofSource. Serves the plugin manifest, OpenAPI spec, and proxies /ask to the ProofSource API — so any GPT Actions or OpenClaw-compatible client can pay sources it cites.

Setup

cd packages/openclaw-plugin
# no extra deps needed — uses Node built-ins
node src/index.js

Environment variables

| Variable | Required | Description | |---|---|---| | PROOFSOURCE_API_KEY | Yes | Operator API key (ps_live_...) | | PROOFSOURCE_BASE_URL | No | ProofSource deployment URL (default: https://proofsource-mu.vercel.app) | | PLUGIN_URL | No | Public URL this plugin server is reachable at — used in manifest/spec links (default: http://localhost:3100) | | PORT | No | Port to listen on (default: 3100) |

Run

PROOFSOURCE_API_KEY=ps_live_... PLUGIN_URL=https://your-plugin.example.com node src/index.js

Endpoints

| Method | Path | Description | |---|---|---| | GET | /.well-known/ai-plugin.json | OpenAI / OpenClaw plugin manifest | | GET | /openapi.yaml | OpenAPI 3.1 spec | | POST | /ask | Proxy to ProofSource /v1/proofsource/agent/run |

Adding to ChatGPT / OpenClaw

  1. Run the plugin server with a public URL (e.g. via ngrok or a cloud deployment).
  2. In ChatGPT Plugins or OpenClaw, add a new plugin using the manifest URL: https://your-plugin-url/.well-known/ai-plugin.json
  3. Set your PROOFSOURCE_API_KEY in the plugin server environment — it will be forwarded to ProofSource.

OpenClaw plugin (index.ts)

The index.ts file at the package root is the OpenClaw native plugin entry (activated via the gateway's openclaw.plugin.json extension point). It registers proofsource_ask, proofsource_traction, and proofsource_creator_earnings tools directly into the OpenClaw runtime — no HTTP server needed when running inside the gateway.
