Popup
Deprecated. A popup is a popup — a hint, a tooltip, a dropdown. This one is a blocking window, and it is called
Dialognow:@propellerads/dialog, built on Base UI and @propellerads/tokens instead of styled-components.This package is going away. It is not being maintained, only kept alive until the last screen has moved off it. Nothing new should import it.
Moving off it
The prop-by-prop mapping lives in Dialog's README. The short version:
| Popup | Dialog |
| --- | --- |
| header | title |
| size | width |
| closePopupHandler | onClose |
| closePopupHandler={undefined} | isDismissable={false} |
| wrapperHandler | isDismissable / onClose |
| theme | — the backdrop follows the page's theme |
| popupCustomStyles | className, or the custom properties on .pa-dialog |
| {isVisible && <Popup />} | <Dialog isOpen={isVisible} /> |
The last row is the one that is not a rename: Popup was mounted to be shown, so the calling code carried the condition. The dialog is told instead, and handles its own mounting — which is what gives it the closing animation, the focus return and the scroll lock.
