Project setup

$ npm install

Compile and run the project

# development
$ npm run start

# watch mode
$ npm run start:dev

# production mode
$ npm run start:prod

Run tests

# unit tests
$ npm run test

# e2e tests
$ npm run test:e2e

$ npm run test:cov

nestjs-auth-management

A reusable NestJS authentication module for JWT-based auth management.

Installation

npm install nestjs-auth-management

Usage

1. Import the AuthModule in your AppModule:

import { Module } from '@nestjs/common';
import { AuthModule } from 'nestjs-auth-management';

@Module({
  imports: [
    AuthModule,
    // ...other modules
  ],
})
export class AppModule {}

2. Configure your environment variables:

JWT_SECRET=your_jwt_secret
JWT_EXPIRATION=1h

3. Use the provided endpoints:

• POST /auth/register — Register a new user
• POST /auth/login — Login and receive a JWT

4. Protect routes using JWT AuthGuard:
