What is nwayo ?

• A completely hackable front end boilerplate

Requirements (All latest) - Installation guide

• Node.js (Bower, nwayo)
• Ruby (Sass, scss-lint)
• GraphicsMagick / ImageMagick

Get started

• Get the files under boilerplate
• Replace MYPROJECT in bower.json and package.json with your project's name
• Rename MYPROJECT.sublime-project with your project's name

Run in nwayo root folder

npm install
bower install
nwayo rebuild

Tools  

nwayo is HTML5-ready and uses gulp as a build system

• Based (but not mandatory) on Zurb Foundation
• Uses Bower as dependencies manager and EditorConfig for consistency

Styling

• CSS3-ready via Autoprefixer and linted via scss-lint
• Comes with Sass
• Minifies with cssnano

Scripting

• ES2017-ready via Babel and linted via ESLint
• Comes with jQuery, Modernizr, lodash, PubSubJs, JsRender, kafe
• Builds with gulp-include and is minified with UglifyJS

Other

• Optimizes images via gifsicle, jpegtran, optipng, svgo
• Generates iconography via GraphicsMagick, ImageMagick
• Optimized for Sublime Text 3 with SublimeLinter 3
