Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

🚀 Getting Started

1. Installation

Choose the package that matches your environment:

2. Setup

Add the setup file to your test configuration:

📦 Package Structure

The tool consists of three packages:

  • @react-render-measurement-tool/core: Core functionality and DevTools integration
  • @react-render-measurement-tool/react: React Web specific implementation
  • @react-render-measurement-tool/react-native: React Native specific implementation

📖 API Reference

measure(ui, options)

Measures rendering performance of a React component.

Parameters:

  • ui: ReactElement - The component to measure
  • options: (Optional)
    • scenario: Function to execute actions after initial render

Returns:

  • Promise<MeasureResult> containing:
    • commits: Detailed render information
    • rawProfilingData: Raw performance metrics
    • exportProfilingData: Function to export DevTools-compatible data
