Use AgentChatView with useAgentSession when your application owns state and Session-ID persistence. The UI renders text and tools in Item output order, upload progress, Session Artifact downloads, cancellation and a native event inspector. Pending functions display a normal waiting status and retain the Stop control. Use chat.requiredActions and chat.submitToolResult() with AgentChatView to connect your application's handler. The UI does not execute handlers automatically.
