Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

@redotpay/mpp

v0.1.2

Published

RedotPay first-party MPP SDK: re-exports Mppx + RedotPay payment methods + RedotMPP(OpenAPI helper).

Readme

@redotpay/mpp

Single-package first-party SDK that re-exports:

  • mppx (Mppx, plus server helpers)
  • redotpay-mppx methods (client/server; charge, redotpay.charge)
  • redotmpp RedotMPP helper (OpenAPI auth + defaults)

Install

npm i @redotpay/mpp mppx

Monorepo / local

This folder is designed to live next to:

  • ../source_code/RedotPay_payment_methods
  • ../source_code/RedotMPP_openapihelper

Usage

Environment (server quickstart):

export MPP_SECRET_KEY=...
export REDOTPAY_OPENAPI_AK=...
export REDOTPAY_OPENAPI_PRIVATE_KEY_PATH=... # or REDOTPAY_OPENAPI_PRIVATE_KEY_PEM

Server:

import * as http from 'node:http'
import { Mppx, createRedotPayServer } from '@redotpay/mpp/server'

// Works out of the box (single-process in-memory replay protection).
const mppx = createRedotPayServer()

http.createServer(async (req, res) => {
  const result = await Mppx.toNodeListener(
    mppx['redotpay/charge']({ amount: '1' }),
  )(req, res)
  if (result.status === 402) return
  res.end('OK')
})

Production replay protection. In local/dev, createRedotPayServer() falls back to single-process in-memory replay protection for convenience. In NODE_ENV=production, the helper now requires a shared, durable consumeReference implementation (for example Redis/DB) and throws on startup unless you explicitly opt into single-process in-memory behavior with REDOTPAY_ALLOW_IN_MEMORY_CONSUME_REFERENCE=1.

Tempo-compliant production deployments should always provide a shared replay store so the same one-time token (rdt) cannot be consumed twice (double-spend):

const mppx = createRedotPayServer({
  consumeReference: async ({ reference, expires }) =>
    myStore.consumeOnce(reference, expires), // false if already consumed
})

Quickstart also preserves recall/debug events:

const mppx = createRedotPayServer({
  onRecall(event) {
    console.log('redotpay recall', event)
  },
})

Client:

import { charge, extractRdtFromPaymentCredential } from '@redotpay/mpp/client'

const method = charge({
  payload: { type: 'balance', rdt: 'rdt_xxx' },
})

const rdt = extractRdtFromPaymentCredential('Payment ...')

Smoke test ($1, OpenAPI)

From the RedotPayMPP_v2 root folder:

REDOTPAY_OPENAPI_AK=... \
REDOTPAY_OUTER_UID=... \
REDOTPAY_OPENAPI_PRIVATE_KEY_PATH=... \
node ./tools/openapi.usd1.mjs

Optional variables:

  • REDOTPAY_OPENAPI_BASE_URL (default: https://acquirer.redotpay.com)
  • REDOTPAY_OPENAPI_KEY_VERSION (default: 1)
