Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

AI-powered release automation CLI with LLM changelog generation.

Installation

Quick Start

# Initialize configuration
release init

# Set your API key
export ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=your-key

# Run a release
release run

# Or with options
release run --bump patch --dry-run

Commands

release run (default)

Run the full release process.

release run [options]

Options:
  -b, --bump <type>      Version bump: major, minor, patch, prerelease
  -v, --version <ver>    Explicit version number
  --preid <id>           Pre-release identifier (alpha, beta, rc)
  --dry-run              Preview without executing
  -y, --yes              Skip confirmations
  --no-changelog         Skip changelog generation
  --no-tag               Skip git tag
  --no-push              Skip push to remote
  --no-publish           Skip npm publish
  --otp <code>           NPM 2FA code

release changelog

Generate changelog only (no release).

release changelog [options]

Options:
  -v, --version <ver>    Version for entry
  -o, --output <path>    Output file
  --dry-run              Preview only
  --print                Print to stdout

Show current release status.
