@rend-sdk/client

Source contract: docs/openapi/rend-public-api.openapi.json
Install:
npm install @rend-sdk/clientGenerate and verify:
bun run openapi:generate
bun run openapi:checkMinimal self-serve upload and embed flow:
- Sign in at
https://rend.so/loginwith an email code. Rend creates your workspace automatically. - Choose a plan in the dashboard. API-key creation and billable uploads stay disabled until billing is ready.
- Create an API key with
upload,read,delete, andanalyticsscopes.

bun packages/sdk/examples/upload-and-embed.tsThe example uploads fixtures/media/rend-fixture.mp4, waits for a playable
asset state, fetches the site playback bootstrap, prints a tokenless <video>
embed, and deletes the asset.
Local integration smoke:
bun run sdk:integration-smokeThe smoke creates or uses a local Rend API key, uploads the synthetic fixture, checks playback bootstrap and embed paths, fetches analytics, deletes the asset, and verifies playback is unavailable after deletion.
Billing and usage limits:
Uploads can fail with RendApiError status 403 and response body
{ "error": "limit_exceeded" } when Autumn denies the organization's billing
state or usage balance. Public V1 usage is metered as delivery seconds and
storage second-months by 720p/1080p/2K/4K resolution tier; upload/source bytes
are only local request-size safeguards. Treat this as a plan/usage state, not as
a retryable transport failure.
