@reopt-ai/opt-ui-primitives

Unstyled accessibility primitives used by @reopt-ai/opt-ui. The package owns interaction behavior, WAI-ARIA state, roving focus, overlay focus policy, and form-store primitives without shipping design-system styling.

Scope

• Primitive behavior for Button, Dialog, Disclosure, Menu, Select, Tabs, Toolbar, Combobox, Command, Popover, Tooltip, and RadioGroup
• Shared hooks for controllable state, focus visibility, floating positioning, ids, roving tabindex, and enter/leave interactions
• Form context, field registration, validation state, and form-specific primitives

Usage

Most product apps should consume these primitives through @reopt-ai/opt-ui. Import this package directly when building a new opt-ui Core component or a low-level package that must avoid opt-ui styling.

Tooltip triggers preserve the child element's original event handlers and ARIA props while composing hover, focus, and floating-position behavior. Consumers can therefore attach analytics or accessible names directly to the trigger without those props being replaced by the primitive.
