Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

surp

nvim-style terminal client for Supabase — manage projects, tables, SQL, edge functions, storage, auth users, and more from your terminal.

The precompiled binary is downloaded from GitHub Releases at install time. No source code is shipped in this package.

Install

npm install -g @rexadbapp/surp

Or run without installing:

npx @rexadbapp/surp

Supported platforms: macOS (arm64 / x64), Linux (x64), Windows (x64).

Getting started

  1. Launch:

    surp

  2. Authenticate with your RexaDB account (email + one-time code):

    :login-backend

    An OTP is emailed to you; enter the 6-digit code to sign in.

  3. A valid subscription (Pro / Team / Lifetime) is required to use surp. If you don't have one yet:

    :subscribe

Useful commands

Self-update
