Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Source-agnostic React components for rendering XBRL-grade financial statements

Readme

@robosystems/report-components

npm version License: MIT

A source-agnostic React library for rendering XBRL-grade financial statements. The same components render financial statements from any source — a static holon.jsonld file (a report's canonical dataset-form holon), a live general ledger, or a graph database (entity graph or the SEC repository) — because the render logic is source-independent. The only thing that varies is a thin data adapter that turns its source into a normalized report model; the components handle the presentation-order walk, calculation-subtotal footing, and Information-Block table projection identically for every adapter.

Features

  • Components — ReportView, StatementTable, FactInspector, and ExternalTextBlock for full statements down to per-fact inspection
  • Five reference adapters (under /adapters) — parseJsonld for canonical holon.jsonld files, parseTavi for tavi.json (the same filing as a Project Tavi compiled model, XBRL International's draft — the same facts, walked directly with no RDF step; parseReportDocument sniffs which of the two it was handed), cypherAdapter for live graphs over GraphQL, fetchSecReportShell/fetchSecSection for the SEC repository, and parseStore for pre-parsed RDF stores
  • Correct-by-construction rendering — presentation-order walk, calculation-subtotal footing, multi-factSet facts, and structure-title/kind parsing shared across all sources
  • Plain React, ESM, tree-shakeable — react/react-dom peers only, no framework-specific imports; the same package feeds a Next.js app or a lightweight Vite app

Installation

npm install @robosystems/report-components

Usage

Render a statement by feeding ReportView a normalized report model produced by an adapter:

import { ReportView } from '@robosystems/report-components'
import { parseJsonld } from '@robosystems/report-components/adapters'

// `holonText` is a report's dataset-form holon.jsonld (scene / boundary / projection)
const report = await parseJsonld(holonText)

export function Report() {
  return <ReportView report={report} />
}

Status

Pre-1.0. Published to npm and consumed in production by RoboLedger and the xbrlkit viewer. The API surface may still evolve between minor versions until 1.0.
