RunSystem Claude Code Helper

RunSystem account configuration, usage, and feedback integration for Claude Code.

Quick start

You need Node.js 18 or later and a working Claude Code installation.

npm install --global @run-ai-dev/claude-code-helper
rshelper

On its first run, rshelper opens a guided setup: it signs you in through your browser, provisions a personal key, backs up and configures Claude Code, and installs the RunSystem plugin. You can instead open the account menu or choose Not now; restart the guide later with rshelper setup.

After setup, restart Claude Code (or run /reload-plugins). Open Claude Code normally:

claude

Then select a RunSystem model with Claude Code's /model command and start chatting as usual.

If your shell cannot find rshelper, run it without a global install instead:

npx --yes @run-ai-dev/claude-code-helper

Everyday commands

rshelper                 # Open the interactive account menu
rshelper setup           # Run or repeat the guided first-time setup
rshelper usage           # Show fixed five-hour and seven-day quota windows
rshelper configure       # Reapply the RunSystem Claude Code configuration
rshelper logout          # Sign out and remove the local RunSystem key
rshelper restore         # Restore the Claude Code configuration saved before setup
rshelper install-plugin  # Install or update the Claude Code slash-command plugin

Inside Claude Code, the plugin adds:

/runsystem-account:usage     # Show quota without using an LLM request
/runsystem-account:feedback  # Open the RunSystem feedback form

restore is safe to use when switching back to a Claude.ai subscription or another provider: it restores the backed-up Claude Code provider settings while leaving unrelated later settings intact.
