Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

This package installs Task (Taskfile) locally.

The official npm installer for Task only supports global installation, making it impossible to install Task locally in a project via npm.

Usage

Install the installer package that corresponds to the version of Task you want to use.

For example, if you install the installer package for version 3.40.1-gtc.2, Task version 3.40.1 will be installed. (The version installed will be the one without the gtc.x part.)

(If you're using Bun, special steps are required; please follow the instructions provided later in this document.)

npm install --save-dev @ryusuke410/[email protected]
npx task --version

Here's how to add this package in Bun:

bun add @ryusuke410/[email protected] && bun pm trust @ryusuke410/go-task-cli && bun install
bun task --version
