Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

About this project

Integrates LangChain.js with SAP HANA Cloud to make use of vector search, knowledge graph, and further in-database capabilities as part of LLM-driven applications.

Requirements and Setup

Prerequisites

  • NodeJS Enviroment: Since this package uses components from Langchain, please ensure you have a compliant NodeJS environment installed from here
  • Peer Dependencies Installed: This package requries these versions langchain and @langchain/core to be installed.
npm install @langchain/core@latest @langchain/classic@latest langchain@latest
  • SAP HANA Cloud: Access to a running SAP HANA Cloud instance.

Installation

Install the LangChain SAP HANA Cloud integration package using npm:

npm install @sap/hana-langchain

Vectorstore

SAP HANA Cloud Vector Engine is a vector store fully integrated into the SAP HANA Cloud database.

Self Query Retriever

SAP HANA Cloud Vector Engine also provides a Self Query Retriever implementation using the HanaTranslator Class.

SAP HANA Cloud Knowledge Graph Engine provides support to utilise knowledge graphs through the HanaRdfGraph Class.
