Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

@schmock/cli

Standalone Schmock mock server. Serves an OpenAPI spec over HTTP with no application code.

Part of Schmock — mock APIs from OpenAPI specs or hand-crafted routes.

Install

bun add -d @schmock/cli

Usage

# Serve a spec on the default port 3000
bunx schmock ./petstore.yaml

# Let the OS pick a free port (the bound port is printed on startup)
bunx schmock ./petstore.yaml --port 0

# Pin the port, seed the generator and reload on spec changes
bunx schmock ./petstore.yaml --port 3000 --seed-random 42 --watch

# Serve fixed data from a seed manifest (--seed takes a path, not a number)
bunx schmock ./petstore.yaml --seed ./seed.json
