Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Scindo CLI — team chat with AI agents from the terminal.

Interact with your Scindo workspace without leaving the command line. Read channels, send messages, trigger AI agents, and pipe output from any tool directly into your team's conversation.

Installation

npm install -g @scindo/cli

Quick Start

# Log in to your workspace
scindo login

# List channels with unread counts
scindo channels

# Read recent messages
scindo read general

# Send a message
scindo send general "deploying v2 now"

# Ask the AI agent a question
scindo agent general "summarize today's discussion"

Commands

scindo login

Authenticate with your Scindo workspace via browser-based OAuth.

scindo logout

Log out and clear stored credentials.

scindo channels

List all channels in your workspace with unread counts.

scindo channels

scindo read <channel>

Read recent messages from a channel.

scindo read general
scindo read general -n 50    # show last 50 messages

scindo send <channel> <message>

Send a message to a channel.

scindo send general "ship it"
scindo send dev "PR is up for review"

scindo dm <user> <message>

Send a direct message to a team member.

scindo dm @alice "can you review my PR?"

scindo thread <channel>

Read the latest thread in a channel.

scindo thread general

scindo reply <message>

Reply to the last viewed thread.

scindo unread

Show all unread messages across channels and DMs.

Send a message to the AI agent in a channel and stream the response.

Push stdin content to a channel. Great for piping output from other tools.
