MCP server for Scope Architect. Gives Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, and other MCP-compatible agents read/write access to your project scopes, documentation, and memories.

Current version: 0.4.3 — session playbook on every get_project / get_next_ready_task; bundled SKILL.md + install-skill command.

Setup

1. Open Settings → MCP in Scope Architect and Generate API key.
2. Copy the client config (key auto-fills after generate) into your IDE MCP file — e.g. ~/.cursor/mcp.json.
3. Restart the IDE. Ask: "list my Scope Architect projects".
4. (Recommended) From your project directory:

npx -y @scope-architect/mcp install-skill

Copies the full agent SKILL.md to .cursor/skills/ and .claude/skills/. Session rules are also returned automatically when you call get_project.

Highlights:

• Scope: get_project, get_next_ready_task, task/module/feature writes, comments
• Knowledge: list_documents, read_document, write_document, record_memory, search_memories, promote_memory_to_context, …

get_project returns a knowledge briefing (Context + pinned docs + memory index) before the scope JSON. Every module, feature, and task includes a stable id UUID — use task_id / feature_id / module_id on write tools (v0.3.1+).

Local development

Point SCOPE_ARCHITECT_BASE_URL at your local Next app (e.g. http://localhost:3000). Apply migration 20260602000000_project_knowledge.sql for doc/memory tools.
