Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

v2.0.0

A browser-native application runtime for building SPAs and micro-frontends by extending HTML and JavaScript with declarative application features.

Readme

Description

Seanox composite-js is a browser-native application runtime for single-page applications (SPAs) and micro-frontends.

Applications use the browser's programming model. HTML remains the primary view language, extended with expression language and binding to application logic; JavaScript remains the primary application language, extended with Routing and reactive rendering; CSS defines the presentation.

The runtime combines component-based composition and declarative UI to organize applications into modules, each containing a view, application logic and resources. These modules are composed into an application at runtime, without compilation.

Recommended CSS/UI frameworks:

  • https://patternfly.org/ (CSS/HTML only)

Recommended are CSS-only, CSS-first and HTML-first UI toolkits that provide styling and optional UI components without replacing HTML or managing rendering, component lifecycle or application state.

Features

  • Composite
Modular application unit with its own identity, consisting of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and additional resources, composed at runtime.
  • Runtime Composition
Composite resources are resolved and loaded by the runtime, which realizes the composite within a concrete DOM context -- without compilation.
  • Expression Language
Expressions in markup provide access to client-side JavaScript, such as application data and the application module.
  • Composite Binding
Connects the view with the application module, without an additional wiring layer.
  • Reactive Rendering
Updates the affected parts of the view when reactive application data changes.
  • Routing
Declarative routing through paths (view flow), based on nested composites, with navigation, permission checks and interceptors.
  • Architecture Neutrality
The runtime provides the infrastructure for structuring and composing applications, without prescribing a specific application architecture such as MVC, MVCS or MVVM.
  • DataSource
Immutable XML data source for static application data, with locales, querying and transformation via XPath and XSLT.
  • Resource Bundle
DataSource extension for internationalization (i18n), localization (l10n) and other client-related texts, based on key-value entries.
  • Test API
API and runtime environment for integration and unit tests, with mechanisms for automated execution and simulated user input.
