Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Qwen Embedding Function for seekdb

This package provides an embedding function using the Alibaba Cloud DashScope Qwen Embeddings API. Qwen offers high-quality text embedding models that can convert text into dense vector representations, with support for both China and international regions.

Installation

npm install @seekdb/qwen

Usage

Quick Start

import { QwenEmbeddingFunction } from "@seekdb/qwen";

const qwenEmbed = new QwenEmbeddingFunction({
  modelName: "text-embedding-v4",
});

Configuration Options

  • apiKey: DashScope API key (optional, defaults to environment variable)
  • apiKeyEnvVar: Environment variable name for the API key (default: 'DASHSCOPE_API_KEY')
  • modelName: Model name to use (default: 'text-embedding-v4')
  • dimensions: Embedding dimensions (default: 1024)
  • region: API region, either 'cn' (China) or 'intl' (International) (default: 'cn')
