Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Command-line SEO auditing tool. Part of the seo-audit-mcp monorepo.

Quick Start

npx @seo-audit/cli https://example.com

Or install globally:

npm install -g @seo-audit/cli
seo-audit https://example.com

Usage

Usage: seo-audit [options] <url>

Audit a website for SEO issues.

Arguments:
  url                    Website URL to audit (e.g. https://example.com)

Options:
  -V, --version          output the version number
  -c, --checks <checks>  Comma-separated checks to run.
                         Available: meta-tags, sitemap, robots-txt,
                         broken-links, headings, duplicate-titles,
                         keyword-density
  -t, --timeout <ms>     Request timeout in milliseconds (default: "15000")
  -C, --concurrency <n>  Concurrency for link checking (default: "5")
  -j, --json             Output as JSON
  -h, --help             display help for command

Examples

# Full audit (all checks)
npx @seo-audit/cli https://example.com

# Specific checks only
npx @seo-audit/cli https://example.com --checks meta-tags,headings

# JSON output (for programmatic use)
npx @seo-audit/cli https://example.com --json

# Higher timeout and concurrency
npx @seo-audit/cli https://example.com --timeout 30000 --concurrency 10

# With bun
bunx @seo-audit/cli https://example.com

Available Checks
