Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

ClawPilot-scoped Composio plugin for OpenClaw

ClawPilot Composio Plugin for OpenClaw

OpenClaw plugin for Composio's Tool Router, hardened for ClawPilot-hosted multi-tenant deployments.

This fork is intentionally host-scoped:

  • it requires a configured userId
  • all tool calls execute only for that configured userId
  • it does not expose cross-user account discovery or hints
  • if userId is missing, the plugin fails closed

Install

openclaw plugins install @sepehrshapouri/composio

Setup

  1. Get an API key from platform.composio.dev/settings

  2. Run the guided setup:

openclaw composio setup

Or add manually to ~/.openclaw/openclaw.json:

{
  "plugins": {
    "entries": {
      "composio": {
        "enabled": true,
        "config": {
          "apiKey": "your-api-key",
          "userId": "clawpilot-user-id"
        }
      }
    }
  }
}

You can also set COMPOSIO_API_KEY and COMPOSIO_USER_ID as environment variables.

  1. Restart the gateway.

What it does

The plugin gives your agent three tools:

  • composio_search_tools — finds relevant Composio actions from natural-language queries
  • composio_execute_tool — runs a Composio action (e.g. GMAIL_FETCH_EMAILS, SENTRY_LIST_ISSUES)
  • composio_manage_connections — checks connection status and generates OAuth links for unconnected toolkits

All tools are automatically scoped to the configured userId. Agents do not provide user_id. composio_execute_tool accepts an optional connected_account_id when multiple accounts exist for the same toolkit inside that same configured user scope.

Config options

| Key | Description | |-----|-------------| | apiKey | Composio API key (required) | | userId | ClawPilot-managed Composio user ID (required) |

CLI

openclaw composio setup --user-id user-123 # interactive setup
openclaw composio list # list available toolkits
openclaw composio status [toolkit] # check connection status
openclaw composio connect gmail # open OAuth link
openclaw composio disconnect gmail # remove a connection

Updating

openclaw plugins update composio
openclaw gateway restart

Development

git clone https://github.com/SepehrShapouri/clawpilot-composio.git
cd clawpilot-composio
npm install
npm run build
npm test

Set COMPOSIO_LIVE_TEST=1 and COMPOSIO_API_KEY to run live integration tests with npm run test:live.
