checkmate-ai is the professional-grade CLI for the Checkmate platform. It provides continuous security monitoring, deep codebase analysis, and remote repository auditing for teams and individual developers.

📦 Installation

npm install -g @serenegrasshopper/checkmate-ai

🔑 Authentication

Before running audits, authenticate with your Checkmate account:

checkmate-ai login

• This opens the Checkmate Dashboard.
• Sign in with GitHub and generate an API Key.
• Use the key to log in: checkmate-ai login <YOUR_API_KEY>

Scan the current directory or a specific folder for security vulnerabilities and architectural flaws.

⏳ Watch Mode

Continuously monitor your files for changes. Every time you save, Checkmate triggers a background audit to ensure no new vulnerabilities are introduced.
