Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Install the Docuoria AI plugin into any AI tool skill directory.

Readme

@sidub-inc/docuoria.cli

Installs the Docuoria AI plugin — a skill package that teaches AI agents to extract structured data from PDFs with deterministic, local-first, template-driven pipelines — into the AI tools you use (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, and more).

This package is the npm distribution of the installer (Node.js ≥ 20). An identical installer ships as the .NET global tool Docuoria.Cli; both deploy the same payload — pick whichever runtime you already have.

Install

npm install -g @sidub-inc/docuoria.cli
docuoria init

docuoria init launches an interactive picker showing every supported AI tool with its detection status. Select the tools you want and the skill files are scaffolded into the correct directories.

Non-interactive / scripted:

docuoria init --tools claude, cursor # specific tools
docuoria init --tools all # everything detected
docuoria update # re-apply after a CLI update
docuoria list-tools # supported tools + status
docuoria doctor # report payload drift

The installer is idempotent — files whose SHA-256 already matches are skipped, and locally modified files are never overwritten unless you pass --force.

What gets installed

The payload is a portable AI plugin package per the agentskills.io standard: SKILL.md (workflow router), references/ (classification, extraction sources, patterns, troubleshooting, privacy), 15 dotnet-script CLI verbs (inspect, classify, dry-run, execute, survey, …), the bundled Docuoria SDK assembly, the template JSON schema, and five worked examples — integrity-pinned by a per-file SHA-256 MANIFEST.json.

Privacy: extraction runs entirely on your machine. PDF bytes never leave the local process.

Prerequisites for the installed skill

The installer itself only needs Node.js, but the skill it deploys runs on the .NET scripting stack:

| Requirement | Install | |---|---| | .NET 10 SDK | dotnet.microsoft.com/download | | dotnet-script | dotnet tool install -g dotnet-script |

Exit codes

| Code | Meaning | |---|---| | 0 | Success | | 1 | Runtime or system error | | 2 | Invalid arguments | | 3 | Conflict — locally modified files were not overwritten (rerun with --force) |
