@simplify-technology/squadpack-ext-software-engineering

The main engineering extension for Squadpack.

It adds the generic specialist layer used for intent-driven engineering work across stacks:

• agents for architecture, backend, frontend, UX, UI, security, QA, DevOps, release, and technical writing
• reusable engineering skills
• catalog entries used during workspace composition and runtime planning

Typical Install

npm install -D @simplify-technology/squadpack-cli @simplify-technology/squadpack-base @simplify-technology/squadpack-ext-software-engineering

npx squadpack init --pack @simplify-technology/squadpack-base --target .
npx squadpack install software-engineering --target .

When To Use This Pack

Use this extension when you want:

• the default engineering vertical for create
• cross-stack engineering composition from natural-language goals
• a reusable specialist layer that framework overlays can build on

If the repository is Laravel-based, keep this package for the generic engineering layer and add @simplify-technology/squadpack-ext-laravel when you also need framework-specific runtime guidance and templates.

Typical Flow

npx squadpack create --goal "Build a secure dashboard with backend, frontend, UX, UI, QA, and rollout" --target .
npx squadpack list --target .
npx squadpack run <squad-name> --target .

Notes

• This extension depends on @simplify-technology/squadpack-base.
• It is the default engineering vertical and stays separate from non-engineering domains such as social publishing.
