@simplr-ai/mcp
Production MCP server for securely connecting supported AI clients to Simplr integrations.
Secure OAuth setup
npx -y @simplr-ai/mcp@latest loginYour browser opens Simplr, where you sign in and select an active secret API key and matching environment. The key value is never read or copied. OAuth uses Authorization Code with S256 PKCE, then stores the rotating refresh credential in the operating system keychain.
Add the STDIO server to Codex without a token or API key:
codex mcp add simplr \
--env SIMPLR_API_URL=https://api.simplr-ai.com \
-- npx -y @simplr-ai/mcp@latestUseful commands:
npx -y @simplr-ai/mcp@latest status
npx -y @simplr-ai/mcp@latest logoutThe server connects to https://api.simplr-ai.com and
https://simplr-ai.com by default. SIMPLR_API_URL and SIMPLR_APP_URL may
point both parts of the flow at another trusted Simplr deployment.
SIMPLR_USER_TOKEN remains a temporary compatibility fallback. New
installations should use OAuth; never paste a portal token or API key into a
chat or MCP configuration.
Managed operations mode
Simplr Connect uses the same supported package in an explicit operations mode for governed feedback, incident, GitHub, and DEV-verification work orders. The connector stores the organization-bound agent key in its protected Hermes profile and configures:
SIMPLR_MCP_MODE=operationsOperations mode requires SIMPLR_API_URL and SIMPLR_API_KEY. Do not place the
key in command arguments, source control, chat, or logs. Feedback releases
require a reporter-safe resolution_comment. Verification evidence remains
internal unless share_with_reporter is explicitly true.
Mobile push
The bundled mobile-push guide covers Flutter setup using the same simplr_ai
package as RUM. Live operations tools can list canonical applications, configure
Test or Live push for an existing Flutter application, inspect subscriptions,
and queue a confirmed notification.
Application creation stays under Workspace → Applications. Firebase
service-account JSON and Apple .p8 keys must be uploaded in the Simplr
dashboard; the MCP intentionally has no provider-credential tool. Configure and
verify a known Test device before asking an operator to confirm any Live send.
