Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Agent Vault: zero-knowledge encrypted backup, restore, and migration for AI agents (OpenClaw, Hermes) on Singularity Layer.

Agent Vault

Zero-knowledge encrypted backup, restore, and migration for AI agents.

Snapshot an agent's entire self — memory, soul, config, skills — and bring it back anywhere: a new machine, a fresh Agent Pod, or the same box after a bad day.

Supports OpenClaw (~/.openclaw) and Hermes (~/.hermes).

Quick start

npm i -g @singularity-layer/agentvault

agentvault login # opens your browser — connect wallet, approve, done
agentvault backup --all # encrypt + upload every detected agent

Restore on any machine:

agentvault login
agentvault restore # pick a snapshot, enter your passphrase

Zero-knowledge, for real

Every backup is sealed on your machine with AES-256-GCM under a key derived from your passphrase (scrypt). The vault stores ciphertext it cannot read.

That cuts both ways: a lost passphrase cannot be recovered — not even by us. Write it down.

Back up anything

Not on OpenClaw or Hermes? Any directory can be vaulted:

agentvault backup --path ~/my-agent --name "My Agent"

Universal by design — Claude Code, Cursor, custom stacks, whatever. Restores with agentvault restore --dest like everything else.

Commands

| Command | What it does | |---|---| | agentvault login | Browser wallet sign-in (--api-key to paste a key instead) | | agentvault backup [--all] [--path <dir> --name <n>] | Encrypt + upload detected agents, or ANY directory | | agentvault restore [--dest <dir>] | Download, decrypt, safely unpack a snapshot | | agentvault list | Agents and snapshot counts | | agentvault passphrase set\|clear | Store the passphrase in the OS keychain (for scheduled backups) | | agentvault daemon install [--frequency weekly\|daily] | Automatic backups (launchd/systemd) |

Pricing

| | Free | Vault Pro — $3/mo | |---|---|---| | Snapshots | 1, rolling (new replaces old) | Unlimited, full history | | Storage | 1 GiB | 5 GiB |

Vault Pro bills from your credits; upgrade from the dashboard. If a renewal can't be paid you drop back to free — stored backups are never deleted. A typical agent snapshot is a few MB.

Dashboard

Manage everything at cloud.x402compute.cc/network/backups — usage, snapshots, one-click pod backups, and cross-machine migration.
