Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Install:

npm i -g @specreview/align-cli

Or run without install:

npx @specreview/align-cli login

Commands

align login
align publish <path/to/spec.md>
align unpublish <docId-or-url>
align list
align revise <docId-or-url>
align status <docId-or-url>

Required env

  • ALIGN_API_URL (for hosted API; defaults to http://localhost:3000)

Typical flow

  1. align login
  2. align publish specs/my-spec.md
    • Publishes local file content directly; no git push is required.
  3. Share the returned URL with collaborators.
  4. Author runs align revise <url>.
  5. Author checks readiness with align status <url>.
