@stackonward/commitlint-config

Shared Commitlint policy for Conventional Commits with StackOnward's supported commit types and a 100-character header limit.

Install

pnpm add --save-dev @stackonward/commitlint-config @commitlint/cli

Usage

Create commitlint.config.mjs:

export { default } from "@stackonward/commitlint-config";

Then run Commitlint against the commit range used by your CI or Git hook:

pnpm exec commitlint --from HEAD~1 --to HEAD

Policy

The config extends @commitlint/config-conventional and allows these types:

build, chore, ci, docs, feat, fix, perf, refactor, revert, style, and test.

It enforces a 100-character maximum header length and does not restrict subject case. Consumer projects can append project-owned rules in their own config.
