@stackonward/stylelint-config
Shared Stylelint configuration for CSS, Vue single-file components, and Tailwind CSS directives. It extends the standard CSS rules and adds a kebab-case/BEM class naming policy.
Install
pnpm add --save-dev @stackonward/stylelint-config stylelintUsage
Create stylelint.config.js:
export { default } from "@stackonward/stylelint-config";Run Stylelint against CSS and Vue sources:
pnpm exec stylelint "**/*.{css,vue}"Policy
- Extends
stylelint-config-standard. - Parses
<style>blocks in Vue files withpostcss-html. - Accepts Tailwind directives including
@theme,@utility,@variant, and@apply. - Requires string import notation.
- Requires kebab-case class names with optional BEM elements and modifiers.
- Disables
no-descending-specificitybecause component and utility composition can intentionally reorder specificity.
Consumer projects can extend the exported object with narrower, project-owned
rules. Do not remove the Vue custom syntax when linting .vue files.
Compatibility
- Node.js 20.19 or newer
- Stylelint 17
- CSS, Vue SFC, and Tailwind CSS source
