Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

A cross-platform, performant video component for React Native and Expo with Web support

API documentation

Installation in managed Expo projects

For managed Expo projects, please follow the installation instructions in the API documentation for the latest stable release. If you follow the link and there is no documentation available then this library is not yet usable within managed projects — it is likely to be included in an upcoming Expo SDK release.

Installation in bare React Native projects

For bare React Native projects, you must ensure that you have installed and configured the expo package before continuing.

Add the package to your npm dependencies

npm install expo-video

npm run build:plugin     # should succeed now
npm run build:once       # or run build:lib then build:plugin
npm run pack:local       # pack to a local file to test locally and install like npm install 'file location of stepincto-expo-video-2.2.2-sicto.1.tgz'
npm publish --dry-run --tag next   # dry run to check what will be published
npm publish --tag next  # which publishes on 'next' which wil be installed by using npm install @stepincto/expo-video@next
