Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

SiSu CLI — 思溯 / SiSu · 思有所溯

Readme

sisu

Official publish channel for the SiSu CLI npm package.

One login. Cloud quota. Local runtime. Auth lives in ~/.sisu, shared with SiSu Desktop. SiSu cloud is device login, the runtime catalog (GET /api/runtime/v1/models), and billed completions (POST /api/runtime/v1/chat/completions). Workspace tools stay on the machine. Sessions are local under ~/.sisu/sessions.

Install

macOS / Linux / WSL:

curl -fsSL https://www.sisu.chat/install.sh | bash && export PATH="$HOME/.sisu/bin:$PATH"
sisu login
sisu

Windows PowerShell:

irm https://www.sisu.chat/install.ps1 | iex
sisu login
sisu

Windows CMD:

curl -fsSL https://www.sisu.chat/install.cmd -o install.cmd && install.cmd && del install.cmd

The installer does not apt/brew/winget a system Node. If node ≥ 20 is already on PATH, it uses that. Otherwise it unpacks official Node 22 into ~/.sisu/node (user-local, no sudo) and npm install -g --prefix ~/.sisu @stevezhou/sisu. Unix gets ~/.sisu/bin plus a ~/.local/bin/sisu link; Windows adds ~/.sisu to the user PATH.

Already have Node 20+ and prefer npm:

npm install -g @stevezhou/sisu

Postinstall also puts sisu on a PATH users actually have: ~/.local/bin on Unix, %LOCALAPPDATA%\sisu\bin on Windows (wrappers that call npm's sisu.cmd, plus a Git Bash sisu). If this shell still cannot see the command, it prints export PATH=... (Unix) or set PATH= / $env:Path (Windows). npm install -g installs a small JS host plus one optional platform package (@stevezhou/sisu-pager-win32-x64 and friends) from the npm registry (or your configured mirror). Postinstall copies that pager into ~/.sisu/bin. 64-bit Windows always uses the win32-x64 pager even if Node itself is 32-bit. There is no GitHub download on the user path, and no half-finished Node shell when the pager is missing — sisu exits and tells you to sisu update. GitHub Release .br files remain CI artifacts used only to publish the platform packages.

npx sisu works without a global install.

sisu update upgrades the CLI to the latest npm release (same prefix as this install) and lets postinstall fetch that version's pager. If you are already on latest, it force-reinstalls the pager. It is not a grok-style background auto-updater.

sisu login
sisu login --code <grant>
sisu login --email [email protected] --password '…'
sisu login --token <jwt>
sisu status

Default API is https://www.sisu.chat. Override with --api or SISU_API_BASE.

Commands

sisu interactive TUI (stamped SiSu pager)
sisu update reinstall the stamped pager for this CLI version
sisu models list GET /api/runtime/v1/models (SiSu-Lite / Pro / Ultra)
sisu open <dir> --project <id>
sisu exec "<prompt>"
sisu -p "<prompt>"
sisu history
sisu logout

Publish

  1. Add repository secret NPM_TOKEN (npm automation token with publish rights to sisu).
  2. Tag a release and push:
git tag v0.1.0
git push origin v0.1.0

The Publish workflow runs tests, packs, and npm publish --access public.
