Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

listen-to-stream

Command line tool for listening to Streamr streams. Outputs events to stdout.

Installation

npm install -g @streamr/listen-to-stream

Usage

Public stream

To listen to a public stream such as the Public transport demo:

listen-to-stream 7wa7APtlTq6EC5iTCBy6dw

Private stream

Listen to a private stream:

listen-to-stream streamId apiKey

where apiKey is the key of the user or stream with READ privilege.

Development environment stream

Listen to a development environment stream

listen-to-stream streamId apiKey ws://localhost:8890/api/v1/ws http://localhost:8081/streamr-core/api/v1

or

listen-to-stream-dev streamId apiKey

npm publish --access=public
