The canonical transcript is never mutated. Private feedback renders as <feedback>👍</feedback>; attributed group feedback renders as <feedback by="Alex">👍</feedback>.

Applications own reaction ingestion, authorization, message-ID mapping, persistence, retention, and the decision about which active feedback to load.
